Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data RankSoft collects through ranksoft.dev and our social media accounts, why and for how long we keep it, and how you can ask to see or delete it. Questions: hello@ranksoft.dev.
Who processes the data
The data controller is RankSoft (ranksoft.dev). Privacy contact: hello@ranksoft.dev.
What we collect
- Booking a free call: name, email, the chosen time and time zone, and your message if you write one.
- Contact form: name, email and message.
- Visit source: with a submitted form we record the page it was sent from, campaign tags from the link (UTM) and the referring site, so we know which channels bring enquiries.
- Instagram and Facebook: when you comment on our post or message us, we process your public username, the account identifier Meta provides, the text of the comment or message and the related post.
- Analytics: Google Analytics runs only if you accept it in the cookie banner.
Why we use it
- to reply to your enquiry and to confirm and hold a booked call;
- to send you the information you asked for by message when you request it in a comment (for example by writing the agreed word under a post);
- to keep a record of enquiries and potential clients in our CRM;
- to measure which pages and campaigns are useful (analytics, only with consent).
Where it is stored and who sees it
Data is stored on our own servers (website, database and a self-hosted CRM). Emails are sent through our own mail server. We do not sell or share data with third parties, except service providers the system needs to work (Meta for Instagram and Facebook messages, Google Analytics with your consent, Cloudflare for protection and speed).
How long
We keep enquiries and potential client data while we are in contact, and at most 24 months after the last contact, unless you become a client - then contract and legal retention periods apply. We delete it earlier on request.
Your rights
You can access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your data, and withdraw analytics consent at any time. Send requests to hello@ranksoft.dev; we reply within 30 days. How to request deletion is described on the data deletion page. You may also lodge a complaint with the Serbian Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.
Changes
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of the page.
